Default 3bet pot JJ oop, kk3 flop

Player at the time was new to the table, I made my cbet slightly smaller
about 55% pot as board was so dry and if I was repping a hand like AK,
I would probably want to try keep him in if he had just two outs.
He just calls which is scary, do you check fold the turn?

Depends on opponent and their range. An opponent who only has two K hands in his range (AK QK), and would fold anything else to a second barrell, may be a second barell candidate. Someone who raises more K hands, and is likely to get stubborn with AA QQ, is not that guy.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
