My browser is Windows IE7, media player is windows but I also have Adobe Flash loaded and when the videos wouldn't play I uploaded the latest update for Flash.
No popups other than to be sure I had the latest Adobe Flash and I did do that.
I am using EZ Firewall & anti virus by Computer Asso.
I don't have any trouble getting video from You Tube. The only problem I have had in the past was with CardPlayer. There video did the same thing and timed out after about 30 seconds.
Thank you for answering my post and I hope you will be able to help me.

Jyms: Thanks for asking for more info. It definitely helps me assist, as I am unable to recreate these issues.
robrick: Thanks for your detailed description. There seems to have been a small percentage of people having problems with this FLV player. Unfortunately, you are one of them. I'll point the developer of the FLV player to your posts and this thread. Hopefully, they will help us soon. I am at a loss, as I have the same set up as you (as far as what you'd mentioned), and I do not have a problem.
One thing you didn't mention was your Windows version and hardware specs (processor).
Hello again,
My Windows version is XP home edition running on Dell Dimension 2400 Pentium 4, 2.4 Gh with 512MB Ram. I receive all the latest windows automatic updates to keep my system clean.
I am on a cable modem for fastest download speeds.
Thanks for your help,
