I tried to post a review using the same username and password and this is what I got.

The list of poker videos is now sortable!

To sort the list of videos by a different column, click on the title of the corresponding column. For example, to sort the list by Date Added, click on the title Date Added in the top row.

This will list the videos ordered from newest to oldest, like this:
    http://www.flopturnriver.com/poker-v...ideos-Date.php

Click Date Added again and the order will be inverted (oldest to newest).

    PLEASE RATE THESE VIDEOS!

I've rated and reviewed spenda's 1/2 FL6max vid, the rating has shown up but not the review. I was just wondering if I could add something to the review before it gets posted as it made a HUGE improvement to one aspect of my game which I didnt actually notice until I played a session after watching it?

PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS! Hopefully I'll get good enough to add a video of my own one day!

The comments have to be approved by one of us Admins before they appear in the reviews. Your comments are live now.

    It currently reads:
Another FL video with hero running super hot! Pros: * Clear video and audio (a good start!) * Good explanation of preflop play * Gives great examples of how your table image should affect your play and when to think about changing your image * Good examples of how to use pot odds and implied odds in decision making * Good examples of when to make thin value bets * Good examples of how to get reads on your opponents without the use of a HUD * Good explanation of what NOT to play out of position * Good overall explanation of thought processes and how to "have a plan" for the next street / villains reaction. Cons (most of which are due to the cards, not the commentary): * Didnt get a chance to explain pot equity / pot jamming * Didnt get a chance to show freecard plays etc * Left me a little confused after opening 98s UTG. I'm rating this video 4, it would probably have been a 5 if spenda had run into some tougher spots and had a chance to show some flush draw hands etc but you can only fit so much into 30 minutes. A must view for anyone switching to, or starting out with short-handed limit holdem.

    ---

Post your revised comment here (in full) and I'll re-post your comment for the video.

    Thanks for your review!

I just joined up and can't get the videos to play longer than 45 sec. to 1 min. and a few seconds.
Any advice on what I need to do would be appreciated.

yea, you may want to give some details. i.e, what browser, what media player do you have? Is there any popups telling you anything?

My browser is Windows IE7, media player is windows but I also have Adobe Flash loaded and when the videos wouldn't play I uploaded the latest update for Flash.
No popups other than to be sure I had the latest Adobe Flash and I did do that.

I am using EZ Firewall & anti virus by Computer Asso.

I don't have any trouble getting video from You Tube. The only problem I have had in the past was with CardPlayer. There video did the same thing and timed out after about 30 seconds.

Thank you for answering my post and I hope you will be able to help me.

Jyms: Thanks for asking for more info. It definitely helps me assist, as I am unable to recreate these issues.

robrick: Thanks for your detailed description. There seems to have been a small percentage of people having problems with this FLV player. Unfortunately, you are one of them. I'll point the developer of the FLV player to your posts and this thread. Hopefully, they will help us soon. I am at a loss, as I have the same set up as you (as far as what you'd mentioned), and I do not have a problem.

One thing you didn't mention was your Windows version and hardware specs (processor).

    Hello again,
My Windows version is XP home edition running on Dell Dimension 2400 Pentium 4, 2.4 Gh with 512MB Ram. I receive all the latest windows automatic updates to keep my system clean.
I am on a cable modem for fastest download speeds.

    Thanks for your help,

    PLEASE NOTE:

There appears to be a video/audio sync issue with all of the videos. A very slight delay in the audio is causing them to be considerably out of sync by the end of the longer videos.

This is not the fault of the videographers. The program or settings that I'm using to convert the source videos to FLV seems to be the culprit.

I will troubleshoot this and hopefully find a solution in the following weeks, at which time, all of the videos in our library will be re-processed and re-posted.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
