Default Work-appropriate skin - might this be posssible?

I don't have leet progrmamming skillz, but is the FTR code set up in such a way that someone could develop a stylesheet that makes the look of the site much more work-safe? Jhite background, fewer graphics etc? I accept this could be a big problem with the ads but even if they stay, the rest of the site could be given a clean, professional sheen?

If anyone who knows more about coding sites than I do fancied having a go, I'd be very grateful!

If you mean specifically for our forum, multiple, user-selectable styles are possible, BUT our forum style is heavily-modified and constantly being updated and changed (much of it being transparent to you guys). Thus, in order for us to allow multiple styles, we would have to make the changes to all the styles every time we tweak something, otherwise something will break.

I'm afraid this is not a feasible option. Sorry.

You could try running Firefox with the Ad blocker (or Ad Aware, whatever it's called) plug-in that allows you to block all images (or pick and choose which images are shown), and "clean up" the appearance of our site on your browser.

    Hi guys,

Just asking this again. Might there be a way using, say, greasemonkey, to create a white/black skin for FTR (everything else remaining the same) so that, from a distance, it doesn't set alarm bells ringing in one's boss?
