If you were against a TAG I'd like your turn check but if he stacks light as it is, just bet/call. As played he could have lots of hands that you beat the only thing the 9 changes is if he had KT or 99 and I don't think 99 is very likely here at all.

you're raising more than 3x preflop?
this board doesn't scare you one bit?

yeah you need to call, this looks like a totally missed flush draw.

    At least $12 pre-flop.

    4x3 = 12

And he was talking about your flop bet. 14 into 24 is way too small. 18 is the smallest i'd ever bet here.

yeah i dont know about you, but i would bet this hard almost the whole way especially against someone who runs 46/26. Surely, you know hes going to call your 3bet preflop, so i make it 12 probably more like 15. Then I probably bet ~20ish on the flop and probably keep the heat up on all streets.

As played, i don't see how you can fold the river, maybe against a taggy nit, but not against this guy. What kind of aggression does he show? I don't see why you would check the turn or the river, i would keep betting hard. In my experience with these types of donks, i just bet them hard whenever im pretty sure i have the best hand and they usually pay me off. No need to get tricky.

    ugh....

    btw, for those who didn't notice, i was the BB, so $11 = 11+1 = $12 = 3x.

i guess since i'm outta position i should make it even more, but it's not like i have AK so i do wanna see a flop and get more money.

QJ sucks ass, since i really am afraid of a set here.

anyways, villain actually only bet $20 on the river, and i insta-called.

    anyone check/raising this river?

    C/r river is bad.

I always raise a $4 bet preflop to $14 btw. Also, you make it sound like you vary your 3-bet sizes by hand strength, don't do that if that's he case. Vary it by the player or your position.

You HAVE to bet this turn, there's so many draws on that board and your read is this guy felts light, so there's no need to show weakness.

As played, you induced this river bet with two checks, gotta call it.

Gotta bet the turn -- flush draws or AK love the free card here and you can't like it.

As played, the river is a snap call. Your flop bet then check check looked like you bluffed and missed
