passives bluff, too
i cant believe this. i've started to notice an alarming trend. those that are passive post-flop...BLUFF when they bet. i didnt think this was true the first time i caught it, but i'm starting to see it alot. maybe its like when you buy a new car...suddenly, you see THAT car all over the place. but...
nobody take this as gospel, just watch for it. if you have some stories/hands to prove this theory true...let me have them.
my theory is this: they NEVER bet when they have a hand. the more passive they are post-flop, the more likely they are to be on a bluff. they just dont do it very often...because they have no friggin clue about when to bet or bluff or anything. maybe their image buys them a lot of bluffs, and they start doing this as part of their regular pattern.
heres a hand from tonight.

this guy showed Jh7h.
this guy was VERY loose pf, and aggressive. he was 40/20...but had an AF of .7 thats right .7! once the flop hit, he was done with the hand. i usually give these types a lot of credit when they bet...since they rarely do. but this is exactly what i've seen lately. when they get super-aggro, its usually total air...and they are trying to get by on image...or they just suck...dont know for sure.
sure he had a draw on the turn. but what the hell was with the action on the flop? and a cap? i only capped to see if i could beat him into his usual submission, and check it down.
