Full 6 seat table, HH converter not working so i edited it down. Villain has me covered. Do you check with the set with the board rainbow, but with the possibility of a J or 10 giving Villain a straight? I have been tight at 18/7 but villain is 26/10

no, you bet and bet hard, you need to build this pot cause of the deep stacks.

I'm never checking here - villain likely hit this flop and if he missed I doubt he is going to spew at us just because we check. Also, a free card will rarely give villain a good second best hand, but could easily put a 4 straight up and pork us.

Also I'd raise to at least $9 pre flop.

No, Never check here, if you want to stack him - start building the pot on the flop, if he folds to you flop bet oh well, you likely werent getting much however you played it. You NEED to bet here the only thing checking accompishes is winning a smaller pot when he has a pair or letting him catch up if he has a gutshot.

You've 3-bet PF and the board comes out like that? A check aint fooling nobody. You hit something, and a check screams slowplaying a monster.

You have to bet that flop every time. You have nothing to gain by checking it....he most likely got a piece of that flop and you need to bet it hard to make him pay. You want his stack so start building a pot. Speaking of flopped sets, I checked AA last night on a flopped set, Axx flop, because I knew villain would bet (aggressive short stack) and I was gonna rr allin. Sure enough, he bets, I rr allin and he has to call since he is committed. Cool. Well, he hit runner runner flush on me! lol.

also, reraise more pf (like 9 minimum) to give less implied odds (assumingyou have a narrow 3bet range), and just to build the pot.
