I hadn't played online for over a month or so, but my husband put some money in the other night to play drunk maniac poker, so yesterday I spent an hour and a half or so playing with what was left.

Getting on the tables I felt a little rusty, and it took a bit for me to start feeling comfortable again.

Anyways, I noticed an annoying habit of mine in the short time I played. On the following hands, I put the villain on a flush/FD. I think this has a lot to do with starting out as a (live) FR limit player.

I tend to play all my hands faster when their are two suited cards on the flop, even excellent holdings like a flopped straight or a set. I know I'm losing value doing this, but I just can't beat the fear of getting flushed out. Help anyone?

PS - On hands 1 & 3 villain is short stacked and play is pretty much dictated from there. Please feel free to critique my play, but my irritation with these hands is how wrong I was about their holdings. If you pretend villain has me covered, esp. in hand # 3, you can see how flush paranoia could effect my game.
