Im thinking of moving to 6 max. I currently 8 table FR .... how many tables do you guys multitable at 6 max?
Id appreciate any winrate differences (between FR and 6max) and any advice in general before I make the switch. Thanx for the help FTR.
On most sites it gets hard to find full-ring games at higher stakes. So 6-max is the natural way to go eventually.
The situation you describe is a standard rock-garden and yes it's pretty boring but fairly low-risk.
If you want to play all the streets then 6-max will be more fun; but there's a lot of development to be had by learning to Lagg it up a bit more against rocks.
Multi-tabling 6-max is generally considered more difficult than fr, and unless the table are completely transparent that's got to be the case; however the increased hands/hour means you probably won't see much change in hands played.
Win rate is such an ephemeral concept, usually is statistically insignificant at sample sizes we're talking about, varies certainly between sites..
