2 (spewy?) hands
About 2 orbits ago I 3-bet Villain pre-flop when I had Aces and he folded. Otherwise we have no history together. I have him as a ~25/20 over 50 hands when this takes place.
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
5 players
Stack sizes:
UTG: $149.70
CO: $100
Button: $139.30
Villain: $222.50
Hero: $140.55
Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with A T
3 folds, Villain raises to $3.5, Hero calls.
Flop: 7 5 3 ($7, 2 players)
Villain bets $6, Hero raises to $20, Villain raises to $55, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $41 returned to Villain.
Results:
Final pot: $47
This hand is probably not that great. If I really wanted to play this one, a float would probably have been better. But whatever, this is not the hand I want to talk about.
2 hands later:
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1

UTG+1: $139.30
Villain: $243.65
Hero: $116.55
SB: $148.70
BB: $101.50
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with J A
UTG+1 folds, Villain raises to $3.5, Hero raises to $11, 2 folds, Villain raises to $33, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $25.5 returned to Villain.
Results:
Final pot: $23.5
This is the hand that I really want some input on. First of all, is my re-raise here too spewy considering our past hands? Or does anyone find anything other than a fold to his 4-bet? And finally and most importantly, what would be an appropriate calling/raising range against his 4-bet? I think I have a leak of not gambling it up quite enough in situations like these, and my range is probably way too tight.
