well thanks guys
To get the best responce i will post my questions there aswell... if this is unaceptable then my apologies and plz delete my posts
My questions: Please dont feel like you have to answer all. I would be really happy if anyone who answered focused on one question i asked so i get the best experience in each area please excuse my noobisness.
1] The minimum bankroll that i understand to be viable as i have seen reccomneded is 50 times the buy-in of your particular level. If i aim to play £1.20 buy in 10 handed SnG, the minimum roll i should invest is £60 - correct?
2] I am begining to understand both the value of position and the kind of table you are playing at and vary my play accordingly. However, i would still say i am a weak/aggresive player who respects all bets, and as such can to too easily scared off betting on the flops where i dont have the nuts or a good chance (1/3 or more) of catching something (where the amount to see another card is outweighed by my draws)
i] At my beginner level, is it better to play it tight and bet into weak players before i advance, or should i practice a more agressive style of play that invites more calls when i have a top pair?
ii] Whats to be said to playing anything, X2/3 BB raises with middle connectors, and two suited cards above 7 in the first round of blinds, especialy in the first ten hands, where, folding to raises and hoping to see the flop the most i can lose is about 1/5 or 1/4 of my stack even if i played every hand? Would the aggresive style be noticed at my level? Is it even aggresive? Would playing this way then rocking it till i hit be a viable strat?
3] I am going for SnG's as i enjoy the change of pace, and as the players drop out i find the game easier - since i loosen up as the players drop out, im usualy playing in such a way toward the end to attract calls to my weaker (trap) bets and folds to my strong (Bluff/okay hand) bets. And i know how muck KK and AA are worth and dont let hands limp in unless the player likes hands like Aanything.
My question here is should i widen my experience to include cash games so i learn more overall, or should i focus on SnG's for a while first?
