At first I thought betting 22 was too much because youre not really folding anything other than T9. Then I realized you probably thought 22 would get the job done vs Jx and 14-15 wouldnt. All I can really say is it depends a lot on your read of the player because tons of players arent folding a jack in this spot but then again a lot are.

He had AQ, i'm pretty sure he folds a J, but not an A.

That's part of the problem, getting floated/guy not willing to lay down by a high ace. Normally when a guy calls a turn it's hard to see him folding a river. You gotta think on the turn in his subconscious he is seeing the implied threat of a bet on the river.

I don't like this spot to bluff. The J 8 8 board is a board he might expect us to bluff on. He just called, if he has a Jack I think a re-raise here would be in order. I doubt he has 9 10, but maybe.

If im going for this I fire on the flop, on the turn I'd be inclined to c/f although you can sometimes fire again. I'm never firing on this river. (if the guy was chasing with 9,10 he might just be in the mood to call with a river 9 as well.)
