    Meh, at least you won. Aces are my third worst hand over the last 15,000 hands - I keep assuming fish don't hit hands that beat me.

    lol ya slow down on the flop killer. also, how can he possibly re-raise you to 1.50??? this is 25NL correct? and you raised .75 over his blind correct? so he re-raises .50???

    that brings up a good point. lots of times in position when i have a pp (99-kk, ak) and it gets raised to me $1.25 - 1.5, i'll reraise to $4.5 in hopes of isolating the initial preflop raiser.

    is this a good strategy? basically gets a decent bet out of them preflop, and if they don't hit the flop they are hardpressed to fire out into me and i can usually take it down with a c-bet. it's something i've been trying lately as opposed to just calling and giving the opp the chance to c-bet the flop.
