Online (non poker room) Casino's Rigged?
I have been reading about some online casino's that offer seemingly pretty profitable bonuses. I decided to deposit 150$ and try my luck trying to clear a few.
The first one i tried was a 100% match to your initial deposit up to 100$, and to clear it you need to wager your deposit+bonus (200$ in this case) 8 times. So 1600 hands if you wager 1$ per hand, or 800 at 2$ per hand, etc...I decided to try and clear this one playing blackjack. I deposited my 100$, recieved 100$ in bonus, and sat down at the table with my 200$ to try and clear the bonus and cash out, with the intent of cashing out my 100$ if i lost the bonus.
In live blackjack the house is only supposed to have a very very silght advantage, 1%-1.5% i think. I have played blackjack before in casino's and know how it's played. To make sure i didn't F up i printed out one of those cheat sheets that tells you exactly what to do depending on what cards you have and what the dealers face up card was. I followed it explicitly. Needless to say (i'm posting this after all), i lost the 100$ bonus credit in about 250~ hands or so betting 2$ per hand, following the rules as per my cheat-sheet and my own personal knowledge of how to play(they were the same). The dealer had 4 blackjacks for every 1 of mine. He also "sucked out" on me so many times on hands where i would have 20, he'd be showing an 8,....I'd stay, he would flip a 2, then an ace, then a ten, and make 21. This kind of ridiculous hand happend SO many times i can't begin to estimate it. 80% of the time the dealer showed a 5 or 6 (they are supposed to bust >50% of the time in these situations) he would pull some crazy running string of cards to give him 19 or 20, and of course i would have stayed with my 15 or 16 like you are supposed to, knowing he's supposed to bust in the long run.
Are these things rigged? Has anyone tried whoring these bonuses? I'm the first to admit that very very very slim statistics are still POSSIBLE. But this string of bad luck seemed very unlikely to me, on the border of being rigged.
