Feedback About Common Situation on Turn Please

just curious as to how everyone plays OOP on the turn after your sd or fd complete? most common situation is probably limped pot, flop brings your draw and you check, someone bets out like 2/3 pot, you call & it's HU to the turn with like a 10-12 BB pot. do you usually go ahead and bet out your obviously made hand or what?

depends..on opponents hand ranges, how aggressive opponent is , also depends on the board...but im thinking most of the time im check raising unless my draw is weak then i'll bet out....

As always, it depends. Unless opp is very aggro, I will tend to bet. Even then, going up against an aggro opp, bet and you might get raised...

Made straight draw (on turn) is not always obvious, especially if you've been betting your draw or just hit a weird draw. I tend to bet a turned straight for value. Get the money in while you're ahead. If there's a FD on board, I bet.

Winning a modest pot >>>> losing a big pot.

Turning a flush depends as well. I tend to bet it, especially if I am suspicious of someone drawing to a higher flush. I am more liable to check it if it's the nut flush and perhaps am facing a very aggro opp, but it's never a bad idea to bet a turned flush (where you're usually ahead).

baby flushes that give redraws to bigger flushes say the board is Q28 two tone you have 109 suited ..you check/call..hit the flush on the turn...now i bet out so i dont give villain a potential free card that might help his hand ...

By check/calling you already gave away your hand--it screams "I'm on a draw". While there are a few out there that will still pay you off, you are better off betting it OOP, hitting it on the turn and then checking it to make it look like you are afraid of the flush. I have found that it is much easier to get paid off when you do this...

I'm leading any unraised pot on the flop where I have 4 to the flush or an OESD for FE reasons and to beef up the pot incase I hit my draw. If I turn my draw, I'm betting out again and pushing to a re-raise.

If I miss my draw on the turn, I'll usually mix up check/call, check/fold and check/raise. It depends on the aggression of the opponent, my image and if I think they can fold or not.

Normally I don't play draws OOP though, due to my aggressive style, they can get expensive. But it's a fun way to wreck your image and still be playing semi-correct.

If there are three or less in the pot, I lead the flop because I may take it there. With four or more in the pot I check and lead on the turn. I like to take control of the hand as soon as possible and begin chasing out players looking to boat their set... just like outbetting a flush or straight draw. worst case scenerio is that your opponent has put you on chasing a flush with their set and they check the turn looking for another pair. I try not to slowplay at all, of course some situations call for it however. Usually though, I'm leading the betting when I'm ahead.

Someone once said: "The trick to Hold'em is getting the most money in as possible when you are ahead." Actually, I think this is common practice.
