Hey.. I am buying a 60in TV in the states.. retails for like 3.5k.. retails for like 6k in canada.. I was wondering when I take it across the border will i ahve to pay any fees? what if i tell them it was a gift ?

I grew up in Windsor, a skip and a jump from Detroit and yes you have to pay a fee if you declare it when you cross the border. You can try to tell them it was a gift...but not sure how that will fly. Too bad it's a big tv and you can't hide it somewhere | |

ya.. the price difference is HUGE.. I think ill go with the it was a gift thing.. if it doesnt f ly.. ill pay the fees.. any idea what the fees would be? |
