I found this bonus chasing strategy and i plan on doing it when i start real money poker. Right now i just set up my neteller account and waiting for the funds to go through but i've been reading how to play, how to flop, 19 hands etc...i've read a lot of the strategys on this board and the articles on position etc as well as numerous threads so i feel i'm ready to get into money poker. So anyways here is what i plan to do when i start playing online poker next week (also i found this strategy on another website)
BONUS CHASING
The problem that many new places face when they enter the world of online poker is not having the proper bankroll to play at the level they would like to play at. It is suggested that you have a minimum of 250 BB (Big Bets) to play at a certain level limit poker game, and 500 BB (Big Blinds) to play at a certain level No-Limit/Pot-Limit poker game. This would mean that to play .5/$1 you should have $250.00 and to play .50/$1 NL/PL you need $500.00.
If you are like me, and a lot of other poker players out there, you do not feel like having to put up all the money needed to play at these limits online and would rather have as little at risk as possible. Using this guide we can help you turn a minimum of $100 into $2000+. Please note that I did say a minimum of $100 as anything less then that could be suicide. It is suggested that you start with at least $200.00 to chase these bonuses. You may always withdraw your initial $200.00 after the first few bonuses clear. It can take you anywhere between 2 months to 6 months to clear all of the bonuses in this guide depending on the amount of time you can dedicate to working off your raked hands.
The first thing you should do is open a Neteller or Firepay (for Maryland) Account. Just about every online site allows deposits to both of these methods. Once you open an account you should fund your account with. If you already have funds at an online poker room it is suggested that you withdraw funds from these sites to try and build up the $200+ you need to chase bonuses.
Now that you have the funds in your account you are ready to deposit at your first site. The first stop on our bonus train is The Gaming Club. They are a part of the Prima Network of sites and are currently offering $300 for a minimum deposit of $20.00. I would suggest depositing the full bankroll of $200+ in case you hit a bad run of cards. You earn your bonus by earning BRPs at a rate of $20.00 per 300 BRPs. You should be able to comfortably play the .5/$1 limit tables with your $200+ bankroll to clear this bonus. If you are comfortable playing multiple tables then you can play 2-3 tables at once and clear the bonus faster. It is suggested that due to the way BRPs are obtained you clear $100.00 in bonuses with this deposit, then withdraw and do the same thing for the next two sites. Please note that BRP totals are calculated and credited overnight (not real time) as well as bonus amounts being credited to you.
After you have cleared $100 in bonuses from The Gaming Club you should do the same thing with River Belle Poker and Lucky Nugget Poker. Depending on your success and your starting balance you should have between a $300 - $600 bankroll now.
Your next stop is Interpoker where you need to deposit a minimum of $100 and play 800 raked hands to acquire your bonus ($90.00) which you should be able to do in a few short hours (if playing multiple tables). I do suggest that you deposit at least $300 of your roll to chase this bonus and ensure you can survive any swings that may happen. Please note that cashouts could take a few days on this site so you should not deposit your entire roll into this site. I would deposit about half of it, withdraw, and then go on to the next step.
Your next stop is Poker Plex where you need to play 300 raked hands for a bonus of $50.00. I would deposit $200 - $250 to chase this bonus and you should be able to clear it within a few hours. Just like the last site cashouts will probably take about 3-4 days.
We should have obtained $450 in bonus money alone at this point and should have a balance between $400-$700. The next place to make a deposit would be True Poker. The first time deposit bonus is 30% up to $100.00 max. You will need to deposit $350.00 to obtain your full $100.00 bonus, however I suggest depositing $400 - $500 since the minimum stake you can play is 1/2 limit. (Note we do not have an affiliate code for true poker, so feel free to use someone else or just go to the site directly).
Your next stop should be Absolute Poker using bonus code OFFTOPIC where you can enjoy a 100% bonus up to $300. You clear the bonus at $10.00 per 100 AP. It is suggested you deposit a minimum of $500 to $800 and play multiple tables of 1/2 or 2/4 to quickly clear this bonus.
Depending on how well you did at AP you should have about a $700 - $1300 roll by now and ready to chase another great bonus. Your next stop is Poker Room where you can enjoy a 40% deposit bonus up to $200.00. I suggest depositing $500 - $600 and playing multiple tables to quickly clear your bonus.
Your next stop should be to head on over to Pacific Poker where you can get a 25% deposit bonus up to $100.00.
At this point your bankroll should be around $800 - $1700 and you are ready to make the move to Ultimate Bet where you can get a 100% deposit bonus up to $500.00. Once again I suggest depositing at least $800 - $1000 and playing multiple tables so that you can quickly clear your bonus. Please note that the bonuses on UB will probably take longer to clear then most other sites, but the selection of games and poor players more then makes up for it.
At this point you should have a bankroll of $1000 - $2000 and ready to make a deposit at Party Poker. You only get a 20% bonus up to $100.00. I suggest depositing $500 to $700 to clear your bonus.
Now that you should have a nice bankroll from all of your bonus chasing its time to choose the site you liked the best and start playing. You can also make use of monthly $50 bonuses on interpoker and at least 5 redeposit bonuses per month at Absolute Poker.
