TT - horrible flop - outs and odds

MP has 2c Qc (one pair, queens).
Button has 9s Jc (one pair, nines).
Outcome: MP wins 12 BB.

I didn't have a read on MP yet, button is loose passive. I'm basically positive I'm beat on the flop, but I count 6 outs, 2 tens for a set, and 4 jacks to a straight. So I figured I had the odds to call one on the flop. Did I also have the odds to call one on the turn though?

Also, should I not be counting the 2 tens as outs since they give any jack a straight?

You definitely need to discount your outs since it is very possible that at least one of your opps has the J and it is also somewhat possible that one of your opps has another T (so if your J did hit you would split).

How much to discount your outs?? Meh - I would give myself 4-5 outs, but I do a lot of this on just pure speculation/implied odds.

In addition to what was already stated, it's also true that even if you do hit one of your outs that doesn't simultaneously make someone else a better or equal hand, then anyone that flopped or turns two pair (not unlikely given the preflop action) has a small redraw to fill up. So I discount to the low end of this range, 4 outs.
