Default Lets talk 3betting with AK

I seem to 3bet AK/AQ OOP often enough against loose players that I get put in this situation quite a bit. My image is TAG(22/15)

    I am in a blind. Villain(33/17) is CO/BU and raises 4x. I 3bet to 13X.
    Flop: J 7 9

What do you do when you whiff here and why? I almost always fire 2/3 PSB and c/f if called and miss turn. I also do the same with TT+.

What is the counter play to a Laggy villain that floats in position too much in 3 bet pots. Do I just tighten up and wait for TT+ to 3bet OOP?
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

It depends on the type of LAG. Generally you should be 3betting someone light who opens light, as LAG players do. If they are floating frequently then you need to lower your standards for what hands are okay to stick the money AI with. In the hand above i would c/f turn even against a light floater, but with Ax-9x/10-10 i would shove the turn.

So the solution is to go all in lighter.

If the player is really laggy (you'd have to be confident in your read), you could consider check-raising all-in. To balance, you'd want to make similar plays with overpairs.
