    Default Update of progress.

    Hi all,

I previously gave you all an update and a thank you to you guys for helping me becom a profitable player.

    http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...269&highlight=

I promised an update so here I am.

I reached $500 and began playing at 25NL, it was a bit of a shock. I had a bit of trouble initially not giving people credit for their hands, after being at 10NL where they called you and raised with nothing. I managed to get over that and have seen some small success at 25NL.

I have had some problems though, especially with overvaluing hands like TT/JJ/AQ/AK but I think I am well on my way to improving that.

The other problem I have found in my play is that I am used to winning a lot of the hands I played at 10NL and so I didn't need to fold most of the time. Now though I need to fold when I know I am beat instead of continuing hoping the guy is bluffing or I will catch my miricale card. 90% of the time it doesn't happen.

Anyway I am going to continue playing at the $25NL and onus whoring EasyT's guide and then re-evaluate whether I am bankrolled and ready to move to 50NL. I now have a bankroll just over $700 and am Party whoring their bonuses before I move to the skins.

Here are my stats: Let me know what you think

    10NL
    Hands: 2,002
    VP$IP: 19.78%
    PFR: 5.14%
    Post Flop Aggro: 1.94
    WSD: 27.36%
    W$SD: 54.05%
    ptBB/100: 34.25
    Profit: $137.15

    25NL
    Hands: 4,622
    VP$IP: 17.22%
    PFR: 5.06%
    Post Flop Aggro: 1.87
    WSD: 20.50%
    W$SD: 45.41%
    ptBB/100: 6.48
    Profit: $149.65

Again, thanks everyone for help and advice. Please leave any comments or advice about beating NL25 as I have only just begun.

Ahem, I may be a tad conservative, moreso than the average FTR-er, but I'd have to say 2,002 hands is NOTHING!

Only my opinion, and if you're doing well at 25 NL, carry on, just that I'm at almost 10,000 hands at $10 NL and I'm not ready to make a decision on my readiness to move up until I get another 10,000 hands in.

2,000, 4,000 even 8,000 hands just doesn't allow enough room for the variance. Don't be surprised, then, if that positive BB/100 takes a sudden dip to the below zero range.

stats look fine but jiggus is right about the sample size. Its way too small to be sure. I would play 25NL for now though since you look like you are doing fine and you are bankrolled well enough. Just dont be afraid to move down if you start getting outplayed.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?
