Live Rebuys

Hi Guys -

I'm starting to get into live rebuys over at Foxwoods and Atlantic City

I've only played rebuy tournaments online - how different is it in a B&M setting? Do we still get the maniacs pushing AI with any two during the rebuy period? How often do people rebuy with these? Can you do the double re-buy before the game starts?

I'm primarily interested in the 30 and 50 dollar rebuys live, although I've heard great things about the 120 rebuy at Foxwoods on Tuesdays

It'll vary from casino to casino (and to a lesser extent from tournament to tournament). In my experience, the double re-buy is allowed. Best thing to do is ask.

My experience with low stakes live rebuys is that people are evencrazier than online, however the blind structure made it so this was almost a necessity. Higher stakes are probably (hopefully) a tad different in that respect, which might lower the frequency of pushes.
