    Yes,

Play small PPs for set value only. See a cheap flop. I will usually call up to 5Xbb with and PP lower than Ts. Drop it to a raise if you dont make a set on the flop. MB call if you have an over pair. Depends on the bet size and your read on your opponent.

Yes and it works good. Minus the occasional bad beat set over set, opponent sucks out a flush ect. 1 out of 6 times I hit my set I destack someone. You dont have to win every hand. Just the big ones.

Putting in half a stack to win a nothing pot against a preflop raiser who could easily have a pair > 4's, 8x, Tx, etc just doesn't not suit me. Also, the line taken in the hand truly represents a bluff, and that's about it..

I may miss out on some $ now and then. Oh well. I'm not going to be putting out big bets trying to steal pots with over cards on the board. Its not easy to get people to fold. Unless the situation is just right. Have patience you dont have to win the pot everytime you get a PP. You will get plenty more. If I dont get a bad beat (set over set, bad call suckout) I dont lose more than 5x BB with my PPs, but I win alot when I hit my sets. As far as being readable thats no worry. If I make my set with a PP and Opponent has TP/TK or 2 pair. They usually wont fold. Read Super System thats exactly the way Doyle Brunson plays small PPs. Which to him is JJ and lower.

BTW I do NOT normally play my pp's like this. I thought I read him for something like AK,AQ, AJ, KJ, etc. in which case I'd be ahead like 60/40 so I gave it a shot. Lol apparently I need to keep working on my reads.
