People let me tell you about my best friends...

    Default Friday night blues

Call this a vent session, but I cannot figure out why Friday nights are my bane in the last month, but it's getting ridiculous. I seem to run up against the craziest fuckers that reraise me with crap, value bet me to death with the nuts (when I am strong) and seem to catch their shit and suckout on me over and over.

I spend the rest of the weekend winning it back.

I've taken a 5 buy-in beating each of the past 3 Friday nights---a night which I thought was good for loose fun action. Either I am just getting pwned short term, or the ultra-sharks are out out under the Friday night lights...or I just suck.

    WTF is up?

be more flexible... who cares if they reraise with crap. Once you catch onto what they are doing, it shouldn't be a problem anymore.. it's an exploitable weakness.

I took a guy's entire stack earlier heads up with Q5.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

Suckouts happen - it is definitely worse on friday nights...because there ARE more fishy people going at it...

Tighten up preflop. Value bet. Cut out semi-bluffs or any moves you might have been making. ABC poker.

I doubt they're sharks, its probably just the variance that loads of fish cause.

Call my a whiny bea-tch...back on the train today...truckin'...

Actually, switched over to 6-max to work on my reads, and I just pwned today.

    Thanks for the advice, m8's.

BTW--I was semi-bluffing way too much and running into big hands or calling stations, and not hitting. TYVM
