    Default I hate fishing.

First time poster, long time reader...

In a nutshell, I started playing about a year ago at PokerStars. Usually play Micro or Low NL tables. My initial deposit, and all deposits after totaling $250 all went down the drain except for about $12.

After coming here, learning technique, What to play with, etc. I brought by see flop % down from like 80 to 30, and after a few months, won all my money back, and an extra 60 to boot. I went from loose passive play to a tight agressive.

Decided I liked winning money, and heard the competiotion at Party is looser, and lots more fish that Stars. So I kept the 60 in Stars, and moved 200 to Party, and decided to go fishing.

In a month, I lost it all. Clearly playing against people seeing 80-100% flop, calling everything. Constant bad beats.

I've since went back to Stars, people seeing 20-40% flops, and I'm winning again. So trying to build back up the bankroll.

Just wondering if I should change my playing style mch against the fish, or did I just hit a string of bad luck? I'm thinking it's a little of both.

Anyway, Just wanted to post my story so far.

    Great site here.

You need to post specific hands.

My guesses at your biggest leaks would be:

    1) overvaluing TPTK when loose passive players raise you.

    2) (similar to 1) betting the correct amount to give the wrong odds to draws, but paying them off anyway when the draws hit.

Without seeing HH these are just blind stabs in the dark but those were 2 of my big problems when I first started trying to play TAG.

If you are looking for another style to try at these tables then do a search for aokrongly's 'Counterplay' thread.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?
