3-tabling $50 n/l

Just an odd question to the players that play $50 n/l who multitable. I'm just wondering how big of a bankroll do you need to multitable $50 n/l. I got up there once then hit a major downswing so I'm just taking precautions before i move up again. I'm well aware of the 15 buy-in bankroll management rule but that applies only to 1 table.

$1,500 minimum. That way you aren't risking more than 10% at a time. If you follow that rule and your bankroll is still taking major swings, you have some leaks you need to address.

I like to have 2k behind me. Above that I just depends on your risk tolerance.

15 buy-ins is the minimum, I like 20-30 unless im at a level Im very comfortable at and have played at for ages. (I generally 4-7 table)

When multi-tabling, in theory you do not have to adjust your BR/Buyin rule - you're simply playing hands at a faster rate. however it may be a nice idea to stick to the rule where you're never playing/riskign more than 10% of your BR at once. The only way multi-tabling can increase risk is if you tilt, then you may spew more chips.

I thought your bank roll was suppose to be 15-20 buy ins for a level (i.e $1,000 is 20 buy ins at $50NL) without effect of multi tabling or not.

I started 2 tabling NL 50 at $1000 (20 buy-ins). I believe this is okay because when multitabling you decrease the variance of bankroll swings. Double the hands=double the cashouts :0)

Oh yeah, I forgot you are probably talking about full ring. 6max generally requires more buyins.

yeh at 6max u get thru hands alot quicker. there is also far more varience so you'll probly want 25+ buyins

20x the buy-in is a good rule of thumb, but more's not bad.

It doesn't matter how many tables you play at once, BR is always the same for a given limit.

Actually, multitabling should smooth out your hourly rate (because you're playing so many hands) a little bit, but that has nothing to do with your win/hand variation and win/hand rate.
