    Default good fold?

opp is rated as lagg by PT (39% VPIP 17% PFR) but this is 6max so take that into account

    hand prior:

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    SB ($51.90)
    Hero ($175.10)
    UTG ($49.30)
    MP ($61.70)
    CO ($44.50)
    Button ($96.25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, K.
UTG calls $1, MP raises to $3, 2 folds, SB calls $2.50, Hero raises to $8, UTG folds, MP calls $5, SB calls $5.

    Flop: ($25) Q, 5, A (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, MP folds, SB folds.

    Final Pot: $33

    Results in white below:
    No showdown. Hero wins $33.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Button ($43.90)
    Hero ($190.85)
    BB ($48.30)
    UTG ($53.70)
    MP ($44.50)
    CO ($96.25)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, Q.
UTG raises to $4, MP calls $4, 1 fold, Button calls $4, Hero raises to $10, 1 fold, UTG raises to $16, MP folds, Button folds, Hero calls $6.

    Flop: ($41) 4, 7, K (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $37.7 (All-In), Hero....?

    Final Pot: $78.70

He obviously didn't like my two re-raises in a row preflop and I see him maybe making this move with something like a medium PP (99-QQ maybe)? What should Hero do?

    Hero folds?

why would he reraise you preflop with 99?
Ill give him credit for at least a K here. He could even have AA and be hoping you hit a K.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

I agree with Pelion. I also think he hit his KKK or has AA and really wants to protect it. He is probably willing to take down $41 right now or gamble you don't have KK. It would take a real donk to make this move without those two hands. He defined his range real well pre-flop, unless you have a read that says different.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

I think he's re-raising range opens up since I"ve been playing back at him for more prior to this hand.

    Hand 1:
I hate the bet. Big pot, don't f around giving the nut flush draw odds to suck out.

When the pot is big, win it because you make money from forcing hands drawing live to fold. When the pot is small, tool around and try to find value.

    Hand 2:

If you think he's a LAggtard then just 3-bet all the money in pre-flop. I go 50bb deep with QQ against far less aggro opponents and see AK/JJ/worse all the time.

Failing that, folding to a Kxx board to a less than pot all-in bet is just stupid. Call his tens or suck back out on his AK.

Make your decision for the hand preflop. Push if you think he's disrespecting your back-to-back reraising and doesnt have kk/aa. Once you just call, I dont think you can call the flop after your preflop decision, though the open-push is quite suspicious.

opp is rated as lagg by PT (39% VPIP 17% PFR) but this is 6max
So for those of you who play 6-max, is this really LAGG for 6-max or pretty normal?

Anyway, I'm not an expert at 6-max, but I think I make this call. So this guy re-raises... lemme think about this for a sec... if he has AK, what's he really fearing with this board? There's no straight or flush, and if the overcard comes, he makes 2 pair. I don't think he goes all in with AK, but tries to get you to call his bet, maybe half his stack or slightly more (especially after you check). Does he have AA... maybe, but all-in also seems over-kill. So, what else could he have... KQ? Unlikely, since you're holding QQ. KJ? Also unlikely, would he really re-raise you a very callable raise pre-flop with KJ?

I think he has 99, TT, or JJ. I call.

    Ship it.

Hand 2 I think your about 50:50 to be ahead here, one of those times to follow your gut.

If you play a lot of 6-max, you might find these useful.
