    Default Table Selection

    I play $50NL tables.

What do you usually look for b4 sitting down.

I usually just plop myself at the table and play.

look for a loose-passive table, with a lot of limpers and people cold-calling raises. you want a table with an average of 4-5 people seeing the flop every hand. then sit down, play a good tight-agressive game, and rake in the cash. I'm pretty sure there is a sticky about this somewhere.

There are some old posts in the beginners section about table selection from fnord and company i think which are worth looking up.
i find that i can outplay players at 50nl post flop therefore i look for quite passive tables with small pots that i can dominate easily. I try to annoy the table with lots of large raises with marginal hands so then i can tighten up when they get annoyed and wait for the monster. I found that at highly aggresive tables or tables where pots get big it took too long for me to figure out when i was ahead and i lost money because of this so i choose this method instead.
I think though its contrary to what alot of players like to do.

Just sit at a table that's already annoyed and play TAGG. Laggin a table into a frenzy is just a precursor to sitting at an action table and playing TAGG. That's what you intend to do anyway. It is important to learn how to do what you do however. One will need the skills for higher limits.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
