Been floating around here for around a month now, but I'm finally breaking my hymen with my virgin post

Anyway, the main reason I havn't really posted is because I havn't been playing real money online yet (only home games), but I've finally gotten myself a VISA card so that I can start playing. I currently only use party poker and was just wondering if $25NL is an OK starting point?

I'm willing to put in around $200-$300 to start with and have been playing poker for around 2-3months now (mostly home games and play money). I always finish ITM at home games (currently 14 wins; next best is my mate with 5 wins; which may just mean everyone I play with sucks) so while I do count myself a beginner, I'm not at the bottom of the pile so to speak.

I'd like to stick to party poker to start with because it's familiar...
