    Default Stars ring

I hadn't played any ring on stars in a long time, so I tried out some 100nl over there. Have the players gotten worse?

I remember stars being a bunch of weak/tighties that you had to push around, but these tables were completely full of extremely loose, extremely passive, extremely bad fish. The play was much worse than similar stakes at party. Has there been an influx of fish or did I just get a couple lucky tables?

EDIT:I posted this in the wrong section I think. Sorry about that. Move at your discretion.

Look at how many people are playing on Stars now. During peak times there are 60,000+ . They use to have a smaller, more dedicated player base, but now they have almost comparable numbers to Party. More people = more fish.
TheXianti: (Triptanes) why are you not a thinking person?

You haven't seen fishiness until you've played at the short-handed tables. With the right cards, you can easily make $300+ in an hour playing a few $100 NL short-handed tables.

i had heard that you have to push them around.. so i did, and ended up paying off a bunch of calling stations. this was at 25 and 50NL though not 100.. still, it does seem to be pretty damn fishy to me.. I find theres a few decent guys, but theres some really bad fish also that makes up for it

Yeah stars ring is quite easy, i gave up on party skins about 3 months ago and have played stars almost exclusively since, the players are much less aggressive than party and much easier to put on a hand. I basically play taggy and fold to most raises.
"[This theory] is only useful for helping to calculate your luck odds. If you have a good read that you have a numerical advantage against your opponent, that your hand is "luckier"..."
