How could I extract more money?

Had this hand a minute ago and not sure if I really could have played it any differently to try and get more money unless someone hit the ace flush.

Bet the flop, and hope you get raised. Bet the turn. People are still drawing to something. Make them pay for it, even if they are drawing dead. No one is going to give you credit for the nuts if you bet out. They will if you checkraise the turn.

Definately always bet the nuts and second nuts out...you'll be surprised at how many people bluff at pots on the turn on flush boards. If you dont fast play this hand then the Ad isnt going to put more money in on the turn...and who knows...maybe they'll jam the flop when you bet out

A is giving you action. Either bet or c/r this flop. In limit you need a REALLY REALLY good reason to pass up a bet with the best hand.

Second, stop worrying about hand like this. Play them fast more often than not and don't think about much more about it. I worry a lot more about hands where I have less or my opponent(s) have less because those situations happen much more often.

yeah, can see the points there, and who would really expect my hand to match that flop really...specially coming from bb where I could have anything.

I think I got caught up in a little nl mindset there really as I was going to cold call any bet on the turn as well and then try to slam the river but got a feeling that sort of play isn't really a good idea when I can't get all the stack in one hand.....definatly need to adjust myself still so thanks for the opinions

Consider, that when I see "a do not slow play" thread it's usually some luckbox that caught a 2 outer or something. When really it's hands like that that make slow playing often a bad idea.

Furthermore, consider this a lesson on the importance of position. With position a flop raise represents a wider range of hands because it could be a free card play. Also, you wouldn't let a big bet round get checked through. Without position you have to resort to check/raise and bet/raise lines which are very read driven.

more or not people at ur limits will continue to chase so I would bet the flop and continue through the streets. a check raise rarely profits in these kind of games

look at UTG+1's hand for a second, note the diamond, you would've gotten a turn call or even a flop raise call with that. You don't want to give the diamonds a free card even though they're drawing dead... You're missing a ton of bets that way
