    Default KTs good play?

I honestly didn't think I should call the preflop raise, but it was heads up and I was getting decent odds to call. Do you think I milked him for the max, or do you think I could have done better?

do not raise with KTs preflop.

calling the raise is fine. Youve allready committed chips to the pot and u havel ike 3:1 odds to call. You ahve a huge stack and it wont hurt to much to call another 500 chips.

    miracle flop.
I would flat call his flop bet.
Hope he bets on the turn and then raise him there.
What you did was fine as well. Well played.

I'm folding this preflop. But once you get reraise you are in a bit of a pickle and have to call.. commited.

I don't have a problem with your post-flop play here.

his stack is so big i dont think he is committed as much as he has really good pot odds to call.

    preflop is weird...

he showed so much aggression preflop that i don't try to take away his momentum on the flop. i wait for the turn to raise.

I agree: I wouldn't be raising this hand preflop. It's just not a very strong hand.

Normally in a tight game I would not raise with this type of hand, and would sometimes fold it in early to middle position; however, this was a very loose passive game (sorry for forgeting to mention this) so I thought a decent preflop raise would drive out some people.

in a loose passive game, you play tight and bet ur good hands.

What you did was raise with a marginal hand. Who are u tyring to drive out? The only hands that call ur PFR would be hands that have you dominated.

Yes. at a loose passive game you arent going to drive anyone out. Play premium hands. At a loose game pick up blinds and antes by raising pre-flop...............

Tight is your best bet easy fold
