Default Party Poker. What a joke!

anyone else play on here (im someone does). Every fu.cking time i play a SNG, these "fish" keep calling with absolut garbage the whole way, and always catch. Sometimes games last 3-4 hands for me. lol. Ill flop top set, and they catch runners for a straight, flush, etc. Even if they go all-in, and i call them, the ALWAYS catch. I only play the $10/1 SNG on there, cuz $5/1 is just swimming in the sea. lol. Would going to $20/2 be a bettter option, or should i just go to Poker Stars or FullTilt?

I dunno, usually you want the fish with you. THe saying goes, they sometimes get the best of you in the short run, but you win in the longrun. Thats not true for me at all. Plus my bankroll is only $50, down to $28 now. What do you recommend? Thanks!

If you can wait for the cards play micro limits and build your stack up. SNGs may have more action, but you're not really bankrolled for it and it also has a collective payout, meaning, if you get AA five times in the course of an SNG and you get all in preflop against 67s, statistically you will lose you might remember it as that one bad beat, but you're riding a single payout on multiple small (or even big) edges and that can catch up to you, regardless of how retarded your opponents are, but that's just the way it works.

Rings you can minimize your losses, double up, walk away, double up, walk away, you don't have collecive winnings riding on each other. Thus you get AA five times and get all in five times, you make four buyins, statisically.

Playing the $10+1 game w/ less than $150 is just asking for trouble, even if you're on your best game. Variance happens. Ideally, you should be playing with 5% of your BR in any given tournament; so with $28, that's putting you into $1+.1 games...unless you're willing to redeposit.

I'd suggest you move to UB for SnG play with that sized roll. They offer $1 + .1 and $5+.5 games, both of which should be less "fishtacular" than what you see at party. I'd warn you against getting involved early even there though, unless you have a killer hand.

A good general rule for SnGs: play TIGHT until blinds are 1/20th or more of your stack and/or half the table is gone. You'll see maniacs at every level. Don't waste your chips calling them down unless you're going to win (ex. in a $20 + 2 I played yesterday, I had someone come over the top of me pushing on the 2nd level. I held KK and had them covered, so I called. They turned over A5s. No aces came and I won as I should, but that's beside the point. I'm just saying that if you get involved early, you will face maniacs. So the best solution is to refuse to get involved.)

What site has good micro limits?

I'm looking to play NL ring games, not sit and goes though..

I plan on playing multiple tables and building my bankroll small bits at a time..

Something like 25-50 cent blinds or maybe even less if it's out there..
    Currently Playing 8 Tables of 25NL 10-Max.
    Or
    2 Tables of 100NL 10-Max

    Current Bankroll: $625

Goal: To stop pulling $$$ out of my bankroll and build it up to 1k.

party poker is full of fish at all levels. I've seen fish from the lower level sngs all the way up to the step 5 mini's I've played in. When you play with so many fish you are bound to go on runs where they will hit everything and suck out on you every time but in the long run you want them calling you down on their runner runner draws or gutshots because you'll get paid off. I'd suggest building a bigger bankroll before you continue with party. stars has some $1 5 table sngs with the most terrible players. I have a beginning friend with a limited bankroll who has been playing in these and he has basically just camped on hands and let the fish double him up until he's in the payouts. I think this would be a way to build your roll up before you continue with party.

I play party sngs a bunch and the trick is patience. Yes you will get sucked out on but play enough of them and they will pay off. I played 350+ 5+1s and was ITM 45% of the time when I moved up to 10s. I still play the 5s when Im running bad. I three table as well. Keeps u from getting bored and impatient.
