Slow Play

It worked out great, but i wonder if i should just raise the flop, will these slow play cost me in the long term ?

I like it. Lack of preflop aggression tells me capping the big streets is g00t.

I don't slowplay much of anything, but if I flop a boat, I'll check the flop hoping for some better action on the turn and river. Just like you got. Good show.

I don't usually slowplay in limit, but there are times where you should to get more bets in on the more expensive streets. Good job on the flop.

Meh you would have got all that action anyway, I think this is a clear flop bet.

You can't be sure anyone will bet the flop for you and since most players are more likely to call bets on the flop than on other streets you miss bets when it gets checked around.

No one will put you on a huge hand if you bet and not betting probably doesn't earn you more through deception.

I agree, just bet the flop ... you're missing bets with this approach. As the field gets smaller (i.e. if you were 3-way or heads up on the flop for example) a flop check gains some merit line, but with such a large field you gotta get the money in on the flop before the dead money starts dropping out.

Ask yourself this: How often do you yourself as a potential flop-bet caller put your opponent on a flopped house and change your call to a fold? What advantages have you gained for 4th and 5th streets?

it's either check raise (given all those callers) or just bet out.
