Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

I can't believe that douche called off his whole stack with an [A 4] gutshot prayer. I can forgive the set of 5's. Very nice pot.

Hey come on now, he had three diamonds! That's almost as good as a flush draw.

Your PF raise disguised your 7/9 perfectly. 555, hard to fault him, although I guess he had to think about whether you had 6/6 or 8/8. Third guy's an idiot.

Playing loose and aggressive is one thing, raising with trash in the small blind is just stupid.

I wouldn't play that hand for the half price discount in the SB, let alone raise with it.

I think you've gone a bit far with things. Raising with trash in a trash position is just dumb.

I'm definetly gonna play that hand at half price. Mid connectors and gappers pay off so good when they hit. I dont know about raising with it though.

If you can get away cheap when you miss or still win on a bluff it's OK. I like it better than a raise with KJ in a lot of ways because it's so easy to be dominated, and think you have a good flop when you don't.
How do you not at least limp with this from the SB? It's a great draw hand. Most hands are draw hands. This hand has some great potential to win a big pot. Not very often, but when it does it can be huge. And when it doesn't win, it's usually gonna be a small loss if played right.

I understand what you mean by out of position...I had been folding a lot and my raises werent getting called. I knew that the only way to squeeze some money was to show crap cheap once or twice. Just didnt think it was gonna work this well.

Hey, nice play man. Nice payoff. I definitely would have limped - or folded to a raise, thinking that I wouldn't get the pot odds. That's just the kind of hand that would drive me NUTS if I were at your table. You must have really spun the table for a loop. I wonder how you played afterwards - did you continue to mix it up, or just settle back into a more conservative game?

I love playing craphands sometimes too.. my weakness is to start playing them too often though and i get beaten. But they're gr8 to mix up your game. And to piss off other players, i love when they go "YOU FUCKING FISH WTF R U RAISING WITH 63 OFFSUITED?!"

maybe i'm missing something because i don't usually play 6maxish type games, but in a full ring game that's a fine raise. Ya he's out of position but who cares, bet the flop and you get folds 9/10 anyway, and raising utg on the flop looks strong. I don't know about you, most of the time i don't really play 79os looking for a monster, I play it looking to win a small uncontested pot, if a monster happens, hey I'm not complaining.
