Personally I would fold J9, Q9 and K9 in any position unless they are suited. |

To me, it depends how far into the SnG you are...if you're still early in it, I wouldn't play these hands at all. Later they become good stealing hands, and short-handed they hold up well. | |

I raise with those hands in LP every now and then as a table image fixer-upper, or as a chance to take down a raised pot based on my position. |

My feeling on this is that raising with hands like K9 in late position should depend on the looseness of the players your trying to steal from. I usually have Game time + running while I'm playing at party and if the blinds are calling stations with high flops seen percentages then trying to steal is a waste of money. If the guys behind you are rockish then it becomes profitable to try to steal. However, if you play at the same table for a while it could be a good idea to mix things up a little bit so the other players don't get a good read on you. | |
