No, you were just playing a bloody idiot. Who the hell calls THAT much on an inside straight draw??? After a big pre-flop raise???

What's interesting is WHY that situation happened. How had he been playing?

Had you been caught bluffing a few hands back?
Even so, it would be a weird play.

There's nothing you can do about that really. Life's a bitch and then you rebuy.

Sad thing is i bet he now thinks "i am SO good!"

He was a typical loose aggressive aggressive guy so I was just waiting for a good hand like that to try to get as much money as I could from him. I figured if he had a set he would have raised me right away.

bigger bet on the flop, I don't think 10 was even 1/2 PS? You're giving him odds to draw here... not to his crappy inside draw but you want to make him pay to draw to the flush.

The call on the turn was just a bad play by him, you're making money on this pot... what, 4 out of 5?

Having said that no one calls the AI on the river without a hand that beats TPTK. He could argue the call on 4th was justified if he knew he'd get the rest of your stack if he hit.

    Thanks.

I agree with the flop bet was too low. The pot was $22 and I bet $10. Should have made it between $15-20 range.

I don't think you should've gone all-in on the river. If you have the best hand, he'll probably fold, if you don't, he'll call and you lose your stack. (unless he's an identified calling station)

Bet an amount that is actually callable by worse hands.

Any amount he bets commits him to a raise by a better hand. Poor players get an easier decision.

I'd blow your mind how many crazy hands will call a big river bet thinking he's bluffing. I'm very serious. Your mind.
