    Default Poker log book

    Hi,
Any advice on what to put in a poker log book, and how you maintain it?
Do you keep limits/SNG separate? How detailed is it (what exact information)? How do you use it to give you feedback?

Writing into a notebook would be the first option, but I think it would be annoying to add up results. An Excel table second option. I don't know if there's anything better you suggest.

I keep all my stuff in microsoft money. I simply lable it as "poker" meaning play or "other" meaning all the deposit bonuses and various other things. Since I play 99% ring games that works well enough for me.

PokerTracker is the best "log book" for hand histories, hand #'s, hours played, win/loss per game/per hand/per position, rake, etc. Probably more statistics about your game than you'll ever want/need.
