3x AK not pairing - cost me 6$ inn preflop raises + 12$ in pot bets = 18$
Preflop raise: Good.
Postflop pot bets.. eh.. not so good, but not horrid. You can bet your overcards, but you have to know if an A or K isn't coming up, you're probably toast. And if it DOES, you might still be toasted by a pocket pair hitting the set, or two pair, or something of that nature.
2x AQ hitting the Q cost me 20$ loosing to a set and a straight. = 20$
I know its hard to lay down, but TPTK is not so great that it can't be folded. If there's a straight on the board, and someone is betting it, you're better off just dropping it. The set was probably harder to see (pocket pair, i assume) but if someone is betting against you and you have QQ, you have to put them on KK, AA, two pair, or a straight. Depending on your read of the person, fold this when re-raised or check it down.
2x AJ hitting the J cost me 11$ loosing to a caller hitting his straight = 11$
AJ is an evil, evil hand. Again, straight on the board, gotta let it go. If a Q or K had popped you'd have been toasted too.
3x JJ - cost me 7+13+22$ loosing to KK, QQ, and a straight = 42$
JJ is an above average hand, but it royally sucks if an A, K, or Q, hits the board. AKQs are almost GUARENTEED to be in someone's hand. They seem to stick around no matter what. And those J's are just like holding pocket 7s. Hope to hit a set, if you don't hit it, GTFO.
3x AXs - cost me 6$ due to no flush draws= 8$
Flushes hit about 1 in 9 (i think.. yeah..), losing $8 on them is nothing to complain about. You'll make it back when it hits.
The others ARE worse-than-average beats, but I don't see AA beat by KK or anything of that sort, so you're not horridly getting slammed. (I lost 75 to KK beating AA, and QQ beating KK) Your post-flop play probably needs a little attention. If there's a straight on the board, you can usually count on someone having atleast 4 cards of it and only needing one more. Ditto for flushes (though it seems less often for some reason. I guess people see 7-9o and think, eh, maybe i'll hit the straight, but see J4s and not even think of a flush draw).
