    DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew he had shit, because he obviously would've bet much less on the river if he had a real hand, as he had no reason to think I had anything at all. If he hit a 4, or had any other pair, he would've bet 300 at the most. Likewise, if he had a K, it SHOULD HAVE been an obvious check, as typically no hand without a pair would call you, and almost any pair would, making it a big time losing bet. It'd be a fine bet with low cards that missed though, as you'll rarely get called by high cards like here, and you'll only win by betting.

What's funny too is that after yeager's bet on the river he only had like 150 chips left, but I bet he would've folded had I raised, even after my super long delay, as there's no way he'd ever put a caller / raiser on a worse hand. I didn't think of it because its typically an automatic call for someone with so few chips left, I had been debating between calling and folding during the delay, and I was pretty sure I had the best hand (only needed to be correct 1/3 of the time here as well, with the pot size).

I still fought my way back to outlast yeager and make the money, though, but it was frustrating to lose so much on the river after making a great read.

Sometimes nothing is a pretty good hand.

I've had to make laydowns in limit because the other guy likely either has it or is bluffing with the best hand.

Of course you mean "cool", not "good"
