i was wondering, in a cash game who has to show their cards in an all in. lately someone i know will call an all in or go all in then never show his hand if he's beat. doesnt the aggressor have to show anyway?

generally speaking the person who makes the original bet (that the other(s) have called) has to show their cards first. Sometimes when two people are at it and one went all-in preflop, they like to show at exactly the same time (especially in tourneys). It is also not uncommon that the person with the nuts (or maybe with just a great hand) would show their cards first regardless of position. Like if someone bets all in, they call and immediately show. | |

in a non tourney game with an all-in pre flop 1 caller both player have to show no matter position? i know when playing online in a non tourney game if you go all in pre flop and get a caller nobody shows until all community cards are out | |
