Default 2 table, or move up a level?

Which would offer less variance, playing .50 SNG's 2 tabling? Or playing $1 SNG's 1 table at a time? If you achieved the same ITM and ROI at either level. Or for that matter, any 2 amounts where the player skill level is pretty much the same.

Multi tabling SnG's can get tough. You could be at different blind levels at different tables, and need to constantly switch back and forth between mindsets. So, as long as the overhead of switching mindsets does not affect your game, I guess the answer to the question of reducing variance would be 2 table it.

So it depends on the type of player you are and the way your mind works. I do not mind multitabling on ring games, but can't stand multi tabling SnG's. Especially when you get toward the end stages of the SnG, when decisions are made more and moer frequently because there are less players.

I agree Flying. I now multi-table rings especially when clearing bonuses. Have not tried that w/SNGs but I would imagine it would be tougher.

Thanks for the tips. I'm winning pretty consistantly 1 game at a time. I just don't want to dive in, and screw it up. Once I get up a little, and can afford to experiment, I'll try 2 tables and see how it goes.

I would rather single table the higher stake. I myself tried this with either two tablign $5 sngs or one tableing $10. I play a lot better when I can focus in just one table. Also, I think one of the biggest factors is tilt. I'm still an emotional person and If I two table sngs and I get a horrible beat on one, I'm going to play like an idiot on the other.
