What IRC client do you use?

I want to jump into the ftr IRC channel at some point soon. I used to IRC a bit, like 8 years ago. I'm wondering if I can get a good free IRC client. Is mIRC pretty much still the standard? Can I get a free copy of it somewhere or is it not freeware any more?

I use mIRC, they never asked me to pay.

mirc is free,

I use MIRC with a couple of addons for admin stuff and topic things that I do.


Its all free.
