Pot Equity/Next poker Book
I'm hoping this is the best forum to post this in:
I have read Sklansky's book Small stakes hold 'em three times in the last six weeks. (My first real poker book.) It has improved my play immensely and I feel I have a good grasp on most of the material contained within. One thing that eludes me is the concept of Pot Equity. For some reason, the way he explains it doesn't seem to sink in. Can anyone else enlighten me on this concept? Especially the term "Pot Equity Edge" and when situations like this occur. I need a little poker theory 101 from some of the masters. Thanks.
One other question for the avid reader:
I have been playing equal amounts of Limit and NL. Any recommendations for my next poker literature purchase? I'm thinking either more Sklanski, Brunson's Super/System, or Cloutier's Championship PL and NL hold 'em.
