willneverwinagainguy: I hope I'm not out of line saying this, but reading your posts lately, I would really, really suggest that you take a short break from poker. There's no way that all this bad luck isn't affecting your play in some way, and I can just see it keeping on badly unless you step back and de-tilt.

    himself fucker.
Ok, ok. I have a few questions. Are you playing with the same people over and over again? Also. It seems like you push on the flop anytime you have an overpair which isn't a bad move. But do you ever get calls by dominated hand? I think you need to start playing big pockets for 3BB and feel out the other players. Try getting reads and putting opponents on two cards before you lunge headfirst with your big pair. Don't make it a push fest every flop. Next time you push with kings put him on two cards, figure out if you want a call and weither or not you're likely to get a call. It seems to me like you raise big with your big hands and pay anyone off who flops something wicked (which will happen once or twice in a 3 hr session) so you'll either win 12 bucks from preflop blinds and action or lose 100+ when they hit it big.

I am not playing with the same people over and over again, I could start doing less of a raise but the problem is I get callers, espacially in this hand I didnt want any ace rag to call, instead I get a 55 and JJ to call a big reraise, if I bet less here they are going to call for sure. I have a standard raising range between 31/2bb and 41/2bb and I try to mix it so they dont have an idea which actually hand I have. Im seeing 13% of flops for the month and down over $1000 because of hands just like this. The reason I push here was I was out of position to a two flush board, and I had shown big aggression on the flop, I dont see how I could get away from this one, unless I could put the big LAgg on JJ, which would have been a possibility.

scgolfer reading your posts just depressess me, you have to take a brake from poker, at least a month, those BIG bad beats can turn any one down, so just stop playing for some time, take some time off, and just relax, you dont play bad you just have a very bad luck, KK usually doesnt get beaten by JJ, and least of all by 55

I feel odd trying to give YOU advice....you do not suck, and you are not a bad player, you simply seem to be in the "panic" place. You feel like you can't win no matter what hand you have (to be fair you have taken some spectacular beats lately) and you go and overbet a good hand to be "sure" you can WIN.

I could start doing less of a raise but the problem is I get callers, espacially in this hand I didnt want any ace rag to call
Do you really not want any callers with K-K? A 4-5BB raise preflop is typically enough to get rid of A-rag at the level you are playing at. A-K, A-Ks & A-Qs is the only real threat. If you push preflop you probably gonna get called by A-K anyway and if an Ace flops you have to room left to maneuver. I can't tell from the hand history if you pushed after the flop or if you called AI after the flop - anyway you know how to play, I won't presume to coach you. From an outsider's perspective though...you seem to be playing very desperately...it seems like it is time to take at least a week off. Play golf - read a book (non poker related) and simply clear your head. Poker is not going anywhere, you can alway try to make back what your down in a couple weeks when the pain of these losses has diminished. I have developed a lot of respect for you and many people here at FTR in the last few months...but sometimes you need to listen to people who are not emotionally involved in your problem - My advice is: time for a break.
