    Default Folding on the river

I am new to this site and have a question about calculating your chances of winning the showdown. Right now I have been playing mainly .2/.4 limit.
The site I read was http://www.flopturnriver.com/essays_river_folding.html

Im assuming you count how many cards from the nuts and go from there????

    Kinda.

This is where experience plays a huge roll. You want to be aware of the nuts, and how far you are from them, but also look how people bet, at the begining and throughout. You may not be able to put a person on a hand, but you can sometimes kinda put them in a range of hands.

Some key questions to ask on the river.

    Do I still have agression?
Did you ever have aggression? Did you have it and lose it?
Did the river complete anything? (important with multiple opponents or if your opponent was calling, then bet)
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

Folding any hand with a fair chance for one big bet on the river in a small stakes limit game is almost always a horrible mistake.

Although I agree generally with this article, could they remove the silly example where you are 80% sure your opp has AK hearts.

My take on it, If your confident you have the best hand, bet/raise. If your not, fold. If you dont know where you stand on the river, there are other issues at hand.... However, if the bet is relatively small compared to the pot (maybe 5to1 or better) and your not sure you are the best, I would probably call..
