Default losing streak- what do u do to turn things around

well, im in a slump, 4 cosecutive days of losing, my bankroll has gone from $260 to $193 in that time and im playing like crap.
it seems like im not getting any cards, and when i do get cards, the board isnt helping at all. it doesnt help that the other players will call anything and play it right down the river.
and to make matters worse, when i do hold marginal hands like bottom pair or middle pair with an a or k overcard that i know the other players have i throw it away and bang, right on cue, my set comes along on the turn and river, leaving me with a hand full of nothing which i know i would have won with. its enough to make a man cry.
what do u guys do to reverse this situation, i think illtake a few days off playing, i usually play about 2 hrs a night, i think i might be burning out. ill do something else in the meantime. but its so hard when u win which i was doing and now im a loser.....
    at least im still ahead

That's the best thing to do and come back fresh, examine your play in the mean time via pokertracker (if you have it).

When I hit a bad run I can sometimes see 25% - 30% coming from bad play on my part.

We all go through this. All you have to do is keep making the CORRECT decisions even if your opponents are not. Sure they'll suck out on you from time to time but over the long haul you'll get it back. Make sure you are playing at a limit that your bankroll can support. Don't try to win it all back at once.

I'm in the same slump right now. Last weekend was ITM 10 straight SnGs, 15 of 20 on the weekend. Since then its, been about 10% ITM. Just under even in online ring games. And cant seem to do anything in person. Last night's home game, I'd get a hand and raise wanting one or two callers; I'd get none. Get a moderate and hand raise wanting to take the pot right there, get 4-5 callers. Flop a set, bet hard; someone calls with bottom pair only to catch runner-runner flush. My overpair trips up on the river only to finish off someone's open-ender.

You just gotta ride it out. It always seems for me right when these runs end, I get a huge rush of wins and make alot more than I lost on the drought. Right now I am SOOOO looking forward to the rush; until then play it 8-)
Is that guy still part of the forum??
