I have trouble with two basic types of players/ hiding tells
The other day I was playing heads up alot and I was doing awesomely. But I ran into two players that gave me some trouble.
The first player was incredibly easy to read. I always knew when I could buy the pot even if I had nothing or if I was beat. I could place him on pocket pairs (hi or low) or on J's off the flop or anything. The trouble was, I couldn't win a whole lot of money from him. he'd never call too big of a raise even with top pair. and I was down at that point trying to earn my money back , but I couldn't becuase he would constantly fold. How do I get some money from this type of person?
The other guy was incredibly aggressive. I don't have to much trouble with agressive people at all, in fact I find them easier than conservative people, but heads up, this guy would raise and re-raise and re-raise and re-raise over and over again with a 64os or with JJ. and this is just preflop. He would constantly raise all the time. he would raise to the river if he didn't have anything and the only way I could tell if he had something was if he re-raise my re-raise which by that point is pointless becuase I've already lost money. I would mix it up really well. I would check to the river with two pair and hope for him to Bet (sometimes he did, sometimes he didn't) or I would bet on the flop, or I would check on the flop and bet on the turn. Its safe to say that with all of the stuff I was doing, he never new what I had, but he would raise and raise and raise anyways. It seem s like the only time he didn't bet or raise was when i had an AWESOME hand.
can anyone help?
oh and also, I was thinking about starting another thread but whatever. I have trouble in live action games trying to hide my tells, any tips?
