As for the fingering, it is meant as a device to allow railroaded villagers to get things right. It needs a large pool, but should also be very valuable to the village since I think villagers in the process of dying by rope probably have a more keen idea of who's a baddy. It also makes an interesting dynamic where baddies can't push for lynches too hard (unless everybody thinks they can't). This game was simply haywire, but I think if we did it again --hopefully with a larger pool -- it would work much better

To those who were upset at the format, I'm sorry, but I also only modded because I was given an interesting idea. So if it wasn't fingering, there wouldn't have been a game. In the future we can perhaps be more clear if the format will be highly unique.

i wouldnt think anyone would be upset with the format. it was fun. also i know jkds claimed the rights to next nonstandard game but im thinking about hosting one too (and if i do it wont be vanilla ww). it might be the only way i can still be alive on the last day of the game.

Format was cool, nice to have a change. The rule changes made the game interesting and I don't think you had much choice in either of them. Personally i think finding out the rules to a random game once we're in it is part of the fun.

Standard game have the same general feel, just no fingering aspect. They usually have some special roles for villagers though, like a seer who can look up a player's role.

My games are usually nonstandard, boarderline crazy. I like tryin.g different roles and mechanics and giving special abilities to every player. I have two ideas right now, and have plenty of time to work out the kinks.

Warpe, rilla, and gabe have what is known as "god tier" status. Whether they are still deserving, or ever were deserving, of that title is a matter of debate. You'll never be able to lynch them on the first day.

I'm intrigued by the seer role, it sounds awesome and dangerous. Early outing is clearly bad, and you need to pick the muddiest players I think to gain the most.

Seer is fun to play, but imo annoying to play against. A well played seer can provide more game relavent information than any other power role in the game just by exploiting his ability. Not the actual power, but by lying about it.

For instance, lie about a wolf you looked up. Say you looked up someone that could be his partner instead. Gauge reactions. Out the real wolf, and decide on the potential partner after you gained all that info.

Its honestly a bullshit role imo, but lots of ppl like it. I usually ban them from my games. Theyre especially troublesome when they cant be killed due to other roles such as Angels (protect target player at night) and Vigilantes (who can kill outed wolves at night instead of using the lynch).

I've never had a stand alone role. Still waiting for that. I have only ever been non villager once too. In a game where we had wolves and vampires so tons of baddies

I hate the seer/angel combo too. I think the specials I used in Werewolves vs Vampires worked well, and that had no angel and an every other night seer

I don't think I will ever come close to topping my seer game, but I would like a good vig game. I'm the opposite of TLR in that I love the vig role. I've wanted to find a way to do like a five different vigs game, so I guess that explains why I liked the fingering suggestion so much
