Um...3 first rounders? So what would they have given the Colts? Rounds 1-4 for the next 5 years?
    Ich grolle nicht...
  15. #15
I love the NFL. 3 first rounders and this years 2nd and 3rd or 4th or something. Fucking. Insane.

Hope he's worth it 'skins fans.

Also Colts cleaning fucking house. Got rid of Addai, Manning (ldo), Clark, and Bullet or w/e that LBs name was. Be interesting to see how they build going forward.

Colts used to be my favorite good team, Lions my favorite bad/diehard fanboy team. It's like they've switched! O_O

Lions go 13-0 this year, then world ends in December.

    Fucking 2012.
  16. #16
Dan Snyder and the Deadskins = FAIL. 3 first rounders + a 2nd to move up 4 spots? Hope to hell he's worth it ffs. Deadskins offseason champs again!

It sucks seeing anyone in your division get that many 1st round picks, but it'll make it that much better when they still suck 4-5 years from now

i really hope Irsay has a plan going forward. Its sucks seeing all the great players from the last decade being released. How does that work anyway. Why wouldn't the Colts try to atleast get a 3rd of 4th round pick for some of those guys?

None of the guys are worth a 3rd or 4th?

I know the Colts are trying to clear cap space moving forward. I think alot of dead money comes off their books in 2013.

Here is capspace now - Team-by-team cap space, as of March 11 | ProFootballTalk

you cant tell me someone isn't going to give a 3rd or 4th rounder for Dallas Clark atleast. Maybe some of the other guys are a stretch for future picks.

do depressing seeing this happen. I've been spoiled with 12+ win seasons for the last decade.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.
  23. #23
Stafford and Burleson restructured contracts to make cap space this year since we were already over it. -____- Suh apparently in the same talks as well as Megatron.

Tulloch better fucking come back this year.

dallas clark is old and injured, idk maybe 4th
  25. #25
Clark is 33 and coming off injury seasons, he had 34 catches last year, his longest catch was 21 yards and probably would have been due a pretty big cap number. No one would give you a 7th-rounder for him.

we got Reggie Wayne back, so i dont care about DC. it will be nice for Luck to be able to throw to a good receiver that wont compound his mistakes.

It looks like the colts are going after Peyton Hillis also. That would be a nice pickup.

Get rid of a Peyton, pick up a Peyton. Easy game.
  32. #32
Yea, too bad one is an all-time great and the other is an all time flake.

Anyways, I'm glad Peyton is gone. I hope he finds a good team and wins another title. The Colts admins were riding on the coattails of their awesome drafts from 98-04 or so, and sorta deserved to get canned. They've pretty much had shit draft after shit draft since then. They've missed on every first rounder in that stretch. Austin Collie is a good player but being concussion prone in this NFL is no good.

disappointed to see peyton, dallas and dwight freeney leave the colts, but think we will get a good QB in luck and also some good pickups already in winston justice and zbikowski

The 3 finalists in the Peyton sweepstakes makes it very interesting. Won't be surprised to see him pick any one of them. My money's on San Fran.

Lions resign Tulloch to 5 year deal. Getting back 21 out of our starting 22 from last year is nice.

no disrespect to the Lions homers in here, but they really are an easy team to root against.

As for that Suh guy, I don't know how many times he has to drive 100mph, rip QBs down by the face mask 5 seconds after the play, or curb stomp/groin kick opponents before he gets a serious suspension, but if I were the commish he would be done for the season. He is the dirtiest, most self-delusional player in the league and can do no wrong. Just ask him.

Sup Lee, how you doing bro? I haven't posted on here in months and you feel the need to call me out? That's cool I guess. I can't really disagree with you. I appreciate what Schwartz has done for this organization. He's brought the team back to a somewhat competitive level, but it's time to move on from him. He's simply an average NFL coach. That's better than what they've had the previous decade but I don't really see the team improving from what they are now under his watch. I hope they throw a bunch of money at Chip Kelly so he can make it rain with Stafford/Megatron.

Anyway, good to chat with you again Lee, take care bro.

My bad. You were just the first Lions fan I could think of with our convos in the past.

I'm not so sure if I agree that another coach would help your team. You saw how well the Texans did with coachign consistency; your team probably needs that as well. I mean, personally I think that the team is dirty because of the personality of its coach, so I'd like to see him out of the NFL, but that doesn't necessarily make the Lions better.

Since Bears are fucking retarded and won't pay Forte the elite $$$ he deserves and decided to sign Micheal Bush; Lions should snap his ass up at the first opportunity to do so. Pretty sure he'd be interested since Lions have shown they'll fork over the Benjamin's.
  69. #69
Lion's release CB Aaron Berry and T Johnny Culbreath. Thank. Fucking. God.

Sucks we had to get rid of Berry since he was the starter going into training camp, but 7 arrests over 7 months involving 4 players is just all over the place. Glad to see the Lions aren't just going to roll over and act like they have the situation under control when they clearly don't.

Also Reiff signed his contract!! Only a month and change til the season is underway!!!
