Haven't played there lately but when i did i didn't notice any superfluous advertising. Personally , if they start a deposit bonus promotion ,I'd prefer to know about it and decide whether to take it up or not. Similarly , with the other promotions thatthey run. These result in extra money in your account that you usually have to opt in to benefit from. If you didn't know about it you'd be moaning that they were giving money to players but you didn't get any because you didn't know about it.
2. Ever since I told them their site sucks and asked to cash out most of my money via email my cards have been magically 2nd best in many situations when I connect with flop, I have not experienced this type of suck out with pokerstars or party poker after playing for the last 2 years.
why not use the withdraw option in the client cashier. So when you run good its because of superior skill and when you run bad the site is rigged?
3. I asked them why I cannot find many micro NL tables that are not full, they told me there are hundreds but when I looked I was kept on a waiting list for 15min just to play a lousy .10/.20 game, (pokerstars and party does not make me wait!!!)
You may be surprised to learn that Titan as well as all the other sites out there have these special tables with no one sitting at them. There is no waitlist to sit at one of them , But if you should sit at one of those tables one or more of the other players sitting on waitlists may think ....."oooo there's a table that i can play at and sit down and play".
4. The bonus star system does not serve the poker player at all it is only there to generate their own revenue and site promotion.
You should do your own calculations on how much a sites promotions, rake, bonuses are worth to play there .
5. I feel the same way with titan as I do with fulltilt. Period.
Not sure how you can be lumping Full tilt in with a lack of returns to the player. Since they reopened I've been playing with 40% bonus clearance,20% edge rewards, points are worth ~5% and had some ring game tickets. Overall 65% rakeback on 6.66% rake works out at 2.33%rake for me to play at tilt at the moment.Once the bonus clearance stops and the rewards drop to 20+5% ,for me it will work out at 5% rake to play at full tilt which is more than stars basic rake charge before the VIP system
reduces it further.
party is 5% rake but for beginners/micro players the VIP rewards are pretty abysmal. For higher stakes players saving their points will significiantly increase the value of their VIP system.SInce ipoker split their player pools , i haven't played there or looked for any rakeback deals there. 50%+ rakeback used to be fairly easy to find although they'd usually be on smaller rooms with a greater risk to your money.
Once you move up out of the micro stakes and into small and mid stakes pots will be capped, further reducimng your cost to play and the most profitable room for you to play at will then have to take into account what levels those capped pots are set at .
in other words , do some research and work out what rake you are paying , what you are likely to get back , standard of play , availability of tables to play at. Sometimes , terrible software means that good players don't play at a site meaning a higher proportion of fish are playing at your tables making it more profitable to play there.
