I'm sure i played this hand right, but can i really afford to check the flop with so much action in front of me? More than likely anyone with a flush draw would probably get it in on the flop after or before i CBet anyway.

once you get to the flop no ace or flush draw is ever going to fold their hand. and i don't mind your flop sizing either. though sizing isn't going to be a huge factor once we get to the flop with this hand vs these stack sizes. well played in my opinion.

No faults here.
I might consider a full PSB given the actual strength of Hero's hand and the fact that you don't want a flush drawing out on you for cheap. Plus, I can't see AK or even AQ folding this flop, so getting maximum value seems viable.

It doesn't make you more money this time since they all folded anyway, but I'd bet more on the flop. Anyone who is going to call .96 is very likely to call more. The key question is how much more. I'd guess you can go to at least 60% pot with little or no decrease in how often you get called.

That's my point, exactly. OP asked how to make $$$ here. He raked ~75bb and just needs to realize that there's no more $$$ to be made in this hand.

Yep I agree with the consensus,you played it well and just got unlucky that nobody caught enough of a piece to put more money in.

If you concentrate on making more money in spots like this where your opponents have weak holdings then you'll be losing money when they have strong hands.

jfc bet flop more. Looking at stacks, I think just go all in, Ax and flush draws call because this table is realy fucking soft, look at the state of the pre flop action. How many limp/calls to a large 3bet? No-one here is folding an ace or flush draw. Stack in, now.

It's really not about how much you made on this hand. It's about the EV. This is a common spot. Sometimes they are folding. Sometimes they are not. If we can maximize our EV by betting more without making them fold more often then we should be doing that.

@ Every1 the difference between shoving and betting 96c is absolutely nothing ACCEPT for the fact people are more likely to call 96c then anything > 1$ for the exact same reasons people are more likely to buy something that is 99c as opposed to 1$.

While I agree with the slightly under the dollar thing, I don't think it matters in this case. People either have an ace, a flush draw, set fours, or they're folding. Whatever we bet, they either continue or don't based on their hand. I we think shit like JT peels at 96c but not $1, well I guess that makes the bet perfect. But I can't see it myself. If they're willing to call 96c with a gutshot, they'll call a shove.

But I guess it doesn't matter. I mean anyone who calls 96c on the flop is calling the rest of their puny stack on the turn. So w/e.
